The Kay Motsepe Schools Championship is a prominent annual event that brings together over 13,000 school teams from across South Africa to compete in various sports, promoting youth development, leadership, and community engagement. Sponsored by Sanlam in partnership with the Motsepe Foundation, the championship seeks to empower young athletes by offering a platform to showcase their talents and develop essential life skills.
Registration for the 2024 Kay Motsepe Schools Football Cup, now known as the Kay Motsepe Schools Championship is now open. The Motsepe Foundation has made available an annual amount of R20M for the championship. The 2024 Kay Motsepe Schools Championship will Include the following categories, Boys under 19, Boys under 14, and girls under 14.
Schools stand to benefit by improving the infrastructure and teaching and learning environment in their Schools if they win the championship. The school that wins the under-19 category nationally will receive R3M in infrastructure development.
The school that wins the under-14 for either boys or girls will receive R1M. To register your school please follow the prescribed process……
